A little bit excited at the moment as I have been asked to join the Design Team at Scrappers Delight  Can't show what I'm working on just yet, but will do as soon as :)

The last few days have seen me with a 'fibro' flare up so, my colouring time has been a bit limited.  I managed to finish another one of the scene lessons,  from the Elements of Nature Class over at Kit and Clowder.

Confidence Week

Well, this week was Confidence Week over at Kit and Clowder.  My challenge to myself was to colour a stamp, on my own, with my Copics,  'without' following a tutorial lol.

Copics !!!

Despite coveting these bad boys since I started colouring, they have actually been the bane of my life hahahaha.  I have finally (I think) learned the concept of blending with them but, as they are mostly all, brand new, the problems with juicyness is beyond belief.  I do uncap both ends and leave them sit for up to 10 mins, then continue to use them uncapped as I work.  The 'Sketch' especially take a long time to settle down.  Skin I am happy with right now because, I use the same 5 markers and they have more than settled.  Hair is still hit and miss and clothes ... Oh My Days ... lmao ...   Still, I'm loving learning them and have a new batch due to arrive tomorrow ... these should help me get through the Nature Class over at Kit and Clowder for a 2nd time.  I thoroughly enjoyed it with my pencils.  Anyways, here are my latest two stamps.

Well, I've finally done it.  After weeks and weeks of lessons, I've produced my first stamp coloured with my new Copics.   As they're new, they are still very juicy and difficult to control, not an excuse, just stating a fact !!

Happy Birthday to Me lol

Well, yesterday was my Birthday and what can I say, emmm it was very liquid hahaha.  A bit hungover today but, at least I managed to complete a project with my new Copic Markers.  I'm pretty pleased with the result although there are lots of imprefections.  New markers containing too much ink and be very 'juicy' being the main one.  Still here's my work ,,,

An Update !

WOW, I really need to spend more time in here, keeping stuff up to date lol

The BIG news is ... I have finally ordered my first lot of Copic Markers ... Yay ... Go Me :D  They will be here tomorrow, I have already set an alarm on my phone so I don't miss the postman.  I am so excited, also have XPress IT paper coming from Amazon ... Did I tell you already that i'm excited haha.

It is also the BIG Wedding here this weekend.  I have spent the past 2 nights turning the train of one of the Brides dresses into a veil, no mean feat I can assure you arghhhhh !!!  Still, it's done now.  My Daughter (a hairdresser) finished all the 'Final' hair and make up trials today.  Bless her, she worked from 10am until almost 10pm getting it all done !

Onto the latest cards and projects ...

This was a get well card for my Mum who recently broke her hip.  Not good for anyone her age, - she's 78 - but, she also has Multiple Sclerosis to deal with as well.  It's been really hard for the past few weeks.
